I've always liked Haiku. With the easy 5-7-5 syllable rule (now it seems anything goes), it's simple and short. You can write it as a puzzle, a joke, a poem, a description of a wondrous scene and so on and so forth. And it's exciting when you have only a few lines to pen down to get the message across. So be creative and let your thoughts flow.

Some said that Haiku helps children who has difficulties in language and speech. Apparently when children are exposed to either reading or writing their own Haikus, they tend to gain much from it in terms of their development in personal and creative language expressions.

Enough said, let's have some fun.

Here are a few of my own Haiku puzzles written first and foremost for enjoyment, and also hopefully to stimulate your child's mind and emotions.
